How soon after I purchase my home site do I have to begin building?
A home site purchaser is not directed to begin building within a specific time period, however proper maintenance of the home site is required by each owner.

How many square feet will the homes be in Vale Creek?
The minimum square footage requirements for homes in Vale Creek are 2800 square feet of heated living area for a one story house and 3000 square feet of heated living space for a one and a half to two story home.

What exterior materials are required?
The homes in Vale Creek must be bricked on all four sides, a combination of brick and stone on all four sides or all stone on all four sides. Hardie plank lap siding may be used as dormer trim or on sides of houses above single story roof. Hardie Plank lap siding is restricted to 15% of that particular house view. Other exterior materials such as authentic stucco will be considered by the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) and approved on a case by case basis.

Can I build my own home?
All homes constructed in Vale Creek must be approved by the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). That committee is comprised of RG Partners and Mitchell Barnett, AIA. All builders must also be approved by the Architectural Review Committee prior to commencing construction on a home in Vale Creek. Builder credentials and complete house plans must be submitted to the ARC for approval prior to commencing construction.
